Bristow Full Sponsorship
120k is probably about right so a 40k salary for 6 years is also about right isn’t it?
They are basically giving you a loan for 6 years but the best part is that if they make you redundant during that time then loan is wiped out.
It’s a no brainer to be in such a position whereby you either have security for 6 years or the remainder of a loan wiped out.
With the 189/92, MCC type rating I was eluding to the fact that they will be investing a lot more than 120k in you.

One of my former ATC cadets has been awarded one of the four cadetships, to say he is delighted would be an understatement, finished university a couple of months ago with a masters in aeronautical engineering this really is a dream opportunity for him.
I don’t find it ‘incredible’ at all, unfortunately for you. Bristow have gone into partnership with Helicentre and so any Helicentre students, either past or current, will be the most ‘known quantity’. ie the lowest risk of not completing the training.
For every Helicentre student who got a positive report, I imagine that there were plenty who were also deemed ‘thanks but no, thanks’.

It was always going to be that way, smoke & mirrors
like all the marketing they do. Congrats to the few that made it through regardless, an amazing opportunity for them in this current climate.

I thought this thread was about the full sponsorship scheme, but the last few posts seem to refer to the individual that won the IR course.
In respect of the full sponsorship scheme, I know that they have selected four cadets for the advertised Integrated CPL(H)/IR course. They start later this month.
Amazing to see these starting again and hope there will be more.

He has a masters in Aero Eng and has gone into O&G. What a sad waste of talent - but as long as he’s happy.....0
