Just curious here, and not a spotter, but, yesterday going for a walk on Cannock chase, we came across N33WX sat on the ground. Not quite what you expect to see but an interesting sight nevertheless.

Does anybody know the reason it was there please ?

Just wonder why you need to tell us you are not a spotter ? Whats wrong with being a spotter ?

The answer to your question what was the reason for it being there..... It was resting before its next flight
