Helicopter Perfomance Textbook

Apart from following JimL in this forum, can anyone recommend an up-to-date textbook that covers helicopter performance?

Shawn Coyle's Cyclic and Collective is a good read, with a little humour tossed in for seasoning.

Check out "Aerodynamics of the Helicopter" by Gessow & Myers. Originally printed in the 1950's, this has long been recognized as a standard rotary wing textbook that addresses the basic principles of helicopter performance, stability, and vibration sources.

If you google it you should be able to find a free pdf download.

I have the books mentioned above and can also recommend:

Helicopter Test and Evaluation, by Alastair Cooke and Eric Fitzpatrick
the Foundations of Helicopter Flight, by Simon Newman.

Ray Prouty books. The best is Helicopter Performance Stability and Control
https://www.amazon.com/Helicopter-Pe.../dp/1575242095

It's way more expensive than when I bought my first copy, but well worth it.
