Sponsorship deal for British Helicopter Team
The British Helicopter Team has just signed a sponsorship deal with Hayward Aviation and McAlpine Helicopters to help meet the costs needed to travel and compete in the World Championships in Aigen (Central Austria) during the first week of August.
HeliteamGB will compete against 60 International teams from 12 Countries over 6 days of competition.
The British Team is a combined services and civilian team, which includes current and former RAF, Army & Navy personnel & professional and semi-professional civilian pilots.
Britain is the current World Free Style Championship holder and has been since 1992. GB is also bidding to host the World Helicopter Championships in 2005.
