flying UK annex 11 aircraft in UK on foreign EASA licence

Hi just wondered if one if you legal eagles can answer a question for me

Can a foreign EASA licence holder fly a UK registered annex 11 aircraft within the UK
I know the UK has filed a motion to allow a UK EASA licence holder to fly annex11 for the time being just wondered if it was possible for other EASA pilots
I also believe that you can with a ICAO licence

You mean Annex II (registered under non EASA, national rules)?

If that is the case, some related info can be here

This is fraught. Annex II aircraft can only be flown by the holder of a National PPL ie, a non EASA licence because by definition, an Annexe II aircraft is not an EASA aircraft. In the case of aeroplanes, the class SE(P) is transferrable but for rotary it is far more complicated. You need the type rating, to achieve this you need four parts to the equation. You with an EASA licence equivalent to the class you wish to fly, an instructor who is qualified on type, and examiner who is qualified on type and the killer punch, an Approved Training Organisation that has the type rating on their books. I am going through this with Scout, CAP 632 appears to present a solution at 6.3 https://www.caa.co.uk/docs/33/CAP%20...20Aircraft.pdf , I am pursuing and will keep you posted but currently, an ATO is required which comes at a considerable cost which can only be passed on to the individual wanting the rating, the ATO would not have the throughput to absorb it. If any PPRunE - ers have a solution, please pm me.
