Harks back to the USAF's use of a Huskie for the first ever mid-air recovery of a parachute-borne object in 1961, NASA Wallops Station's first helicopter aerial recovery of a rocket-launched payload in 1966, and to the USAF's CH-3 Jolly Green Giant Mid-Air Recovery System (MARS) program.
