You submit really good posts with a lot of information. However if you think ambulances turn up, put a bandage on and go then how simple life would be. I understand your background is MRT, rest assured they do a fantastic job and I would love to be part of that superb organisation. However, some of your posts appear as if you were a maestro in the back of the cab and indeed some posts you should read before posting. Rant over from a p****d off ambulance employee.

1. Although I stick my nose into a few other Rotorhead matters occasionally, my role here, as in some other fora, is principally advancement of the UK SAR Helicopter Service as it relates to land SAR in wild and mountainous country.
2. One might say that I am self-appointed in that role but that is not entirely true since Kintail MRT, MRCofS, eMagazine Casbag, and others in MR have all asked me to take a role in relation to these matters at some time during the last 5 years.
3. I do not operate in isolation. My contact list of SAR personnel is quite varied and I often ask questions before settling on an opinion or I encourage others to read and comment on posts or articles. Occasionally, my posts here, or points made in discussions elsewhere, make the case for those not in a strong position to speak out for themselves.
4. There is definitely no slight intended upon ambulance personnel. Several times over the years, I and others have tried to develop the relationship between Scottish MR and SAS: the Air Wing in particular. There is a lot more that could be done there. I would dearly like there to be a closer relationship and understanding between SAS's Helimed 2 and the MRT in the north-west Highlands.
5. Sometimes, I screw up.
