self fly hire EC120 or Squirrel
Hello all,
I am a private R44 owner and am looking to do a type rating for either a squirrel or EC120 with a view to self fly hire afterwards. I would be prepared to contract with a private owner otherwise to share for approx one weekend per month. If anyone can help it would be much appreciated.

Have you spoken with any of the companies offering TR courses?
You can get either / both TR quals at Redhill. SFH thereafter, you might need some hours with a safety pilot before they will let you loose on your own.
May be worth exploring options for SFH before getting the TR.

A more reliable way to ensure that you can fly solo is to buy one and recoup funds by leasing to one of the operators. I know of an opportunity if you are interested - PM me if you want.
