I wish to convey the following messages and resources for those Christian members of the PPRuNe community:

Our thoughts and prayers are with the four families of those who lost thir lives in Friday night's tragic helicopter ditching.

We remember too those who were friends and colleagues of those lost and give thanks for those who were courageously rescued through the work of the Rescue Services and those manning the Emergency Response Rooms.

UK Oil & Gas Chaplaincy

The UK Oil & Gas Chaplaincy is hosting an online condolences book for those wishing to pay tribute to the four souls who were lost on Friday night.

A physical book of condolences can be signed at the Kirk of St. Nicholas in Aberdeen.

I offer my deepest sympathies and heartfelt sorrow as we pray for all those grieving the loss of loved ones.

I also offer my gratitude for the bravery of all those involved in the rescue efforts and am reminded once again of the perilous nature of work in the oil and gas industry.
