Hi Folks

Interested where rumour surfaced.

Last heard some time ago -

Offshore windfarm teams proposed for maintenance/development support.

Originally considered financially unjustifiable.

Vessel access since, supposedly proving excessively time-consuming.

Bond were named.

Stand on the beach facing west at Walney Island, look out to sea and take the same guess as me. I see lots of ££££££££ signs out there. Be it windfarms or gas rigs, they are spending lots of dosh out there. There is a NOTAM currently on display, it may be for that.

Nah........

They only show up in Denmark, (as vatenfalling Eurodongs).

Cheers jayteeto for info/NOTAM.

Not long till they span Walney's entire horizon.

EDIT -
Forgot to ask,
is a Bell 222 / 230 / 430 involved ? (or similar shape).
A white one with light blue side stripe,
passed low last week, to south of BAE exclusion.
