Aw139 ditched macea 27/03
Wel my portugese is not that good, but looking at the picture it is missing its tail rotor (a picture tells more than a thousand words..)
How can it be that not the total 139 fleet is grounded after so many issues with the tailrotor, seems a bit strange after all that happenend with the ec225's
Hopefully everybody got out (it rest nicely on the floats)!

Yep---I just took it from the links posted above.... but you are right.
That picture is originally from the Hongkong crash were they blamed a bird strike for the loss of the T/R assembly.

Is it me just being an old cynic, but why is it that Bristow / Lider always go very quiet following incidents - would this be in keeping with Target Zero .... in the press?! Surely elsewhere we would be clamouring for more information??
