A109 Helicopter Autopilot issues
I am interested if any A109 pilots have encountered problems with the helicopter's AFCS autopilot system. Such as AFCS hardovers during pitch and roll manoeuvres.
I have heard of them in the A109 and BH 412 but have not been able to find much information as to what happened or why. If you can provide any information ... please advise. Many thanks.

I've got almost 2000 hours in Agusta's, about 7 different serials, mainly E and SP model, and have never had a hard over.
I had one aircraft that began an uncommanded tight descending spiral and the AP kept connected all the way, always below 80 knots, and in the SP the avionics pretty much do what they want, the trim actuators fail, and the FMS computers go wild, etc. etc. but never a hardover.
