Arrow Anatomy of a Rescue

Mevagissey, a quiet Cornish fishing village.

Sometimes visited by the famous

Sometimes a little movement.

Until a young chap decides to lean over the cliff to retrieve his sunglasses..
(it was a big cliff, but more later.)

the call goes out to The Air Ambulance, but unfortunately there is nowhere to land.....times getting tight as the tide's coming in...

So this fella' turns up (?from Culdrose).

He annoys the tourists, and for the record, the makerel, but we forgive him..

this one shows the scale of the problem

all of a sudden, this little fecker drops out of the hatch, he doesn't look old enough to date my daughter, but what a top guy.....he even directed the pilot to the exact spot where he wanted to get soaked.

guess the pilot should take some credit to..

I think this guy must have been his Dad..

and the guy got took to hospital..

Now I'm a cynical Bar Steward when it comes to health care interventions, but these boy's were fantastic.

Hope he's doing ok, I'm sure he is, thanks to the rotorheads and everyone on the team.
