European License
I am an FAA ATP with 7500 hours (3000 Multi) and need some advice !
who are the best people to convert my licenses with and is it worth doing ?

I don't think "convert" is the right word to use, you will be given quite a few dispensations but sadly you still have a few hoops to jump through, and they all cost money.
Where to do it depends on where you are, US/UK/elsewhere. There are a few places you can do the written tests, not necessarily in Europe.
Is it worth it? Well, how long is a piece of string? If you intend to work in Europe you will need it. Of course, you must also have the right to work there. If you don't specifically need it to fly in Europe, you might just spend all that time, effort and money for nil return.

I have some questions on the subject of EASA licensing for Engineers:
I am Canadian and hold a TC AME M2 license, I am experienced on twin turbine transport category helicopters. I understand that "converting" would require writing the 13 exams and proving my work experience.
Luckily I dug out my work experience logbook from my office so hopefully proving experience won't be too hard but I am kind of worried about the exams as it has been 5 years since I went to school and my Swiss cheese of a brain has definitely forgotten most of what I learned.
Where can I find the study material for purchase?
A disc of multiple choice exam questions such as are available for the FAA and TC exams would be a godsend.
Google quickly led me to this site: EASA Part 66 CAT-A, B1, B2, B3 licence - What you always wanted to know about the EASA part 66 / JAR-66 licence and FAA A&P license!.
It looks semi-legit but Before I drop $500CAD on something I just found on the internet I was wondering if there were any satisfied/unsatisfied customers of that particular site wandering around this here forum.
I'm going to spend some more time on the EASA site and see what I can find.

British Bulldog - a lot depends on where you are going to fly. Even outside Europe, the oil companies tend to want JAA standards, so it may be something to look at as a supplement to your FAA licence.
The next decision is whether you want the ATPL(H) or the CPL(H), and even the IR(H) (note that the current combination of CPL(H) and IR(H) does not equal an ATPL(H)).
You will need to do all the exams, but your flying training should be "as required". If you have over 1000 hours multi-crew, you should be able to waltz straight in and do the exams (i.e. you can self-certify), but you would be very unwise to do that without preparation due to the abysmal nature of the questions.
There plenty of schools who can do the flying and a couple who can do the flying and the IR if required, but only one or two in UK who can do the ATPL(H) theoretical knowledge, which, as of 25 June does NOT include Bristol.

Thanks Gents, i appreciate the feed-back.
I'm a us/uk citizen and am thinking about going back to UK or other parts ?
Bristol GS is offering a self study kit for the exams and as i understand it if i had the writ tens done.... A company would be interested in picking me up, not sure how true that is....
I have 139 & 92 time hopefully this will help.
