S76 AirGlass skis

Anyone have any experience with an S-76 fitted with the certified AirGlass ski installation? Limitations, restrictions, etc.

Hmm, once I'd figured out the correct spelling of Airglas I was unable to find anything on their website Ski Manufacturers for Helicopters and Light Aircraft ~ Airglas, Inc., Alaska on the S76 skis - apart from an apocryphal note that their founder had worked on skis for that helo type.

Have you considered emailing them - or are you trying to compare "manufacturer figures" with "real world figures"?

I would call Airglas, and ask for Chris Donnelly. His number is (907) 344-1450.

We fly their skis on a Cessna 185 and Aviat Husky, and their pod on a Husky -- excellent company and products. Alaska SAR folks use Airglas skis on their Blackhawks.
