Grande Hospital, Kathmandu

VF brother

Some time ago you had posted several pictures at rooftop of Grande Hospital in Kathmandu.

Found this video of you taking off on the same day on youtube.

Yaar know thy machine (limitations) & thou self's abilities & limitations & use accordingly, exceeding neither & hopefully wisely (Airmanship)

Hey gcpilot

thanks, I'd not seen that clip yet? hehehehe classic ATC delay for a take-off clearance, the Hospital is inside the Heli-lane 4nm to the Helicopter parking area at VNKT, no where near an approach or T/O path of the Airbus's. We were 90º radial away from runway alignment so hmmmmm

Hey Hawkeye0001

Keeping the TR (mincer) clear & safe is always a good idea, especially with such crowds up there

Are all the birds stationed at Kathmandu and dispatched from there or does the company keep birds at strategic locations like Pokhara, Nepalgunj and dispatch them as necessary?

Angel

Good morning gcpilot8

All based at VNKT, during the climbing season we base the AS350B3+ at VNLK to have a shorter response time for Sagarmatha (Everest) Rescues

Cheers & Happy Landings
