Angel Tail-Rotor Safety

Hey Nubian

Yar why not, all Kid's play with sticks, stones anything they can get their little hands on I've not had one (yet) throw anything into the Tail-Rotor
But I am parking with the tail hanging out from the pad so that no-one can walk into the mincer

Thumbs up Great thread

hay VF, love your thread and please keep it up. One thing could you get your engineers to put some paint on the B3 tail rotor blades, this will make the tail rotor more visible to the prospective fodder and as an added bonus give them more life.

I have a thread elsewhere of my PNG Pics by Pigdog, may be of interest to you and any other viewers, but I must say it's not to the standard you have set.

Cheers

Dog

VF,

Always the best practise to park with the tail like that. Avoid most risks for the tail rotor. Just got the chilles, thinking of a stick poked in the wrong place. Have had my share of landings around Africa and India with sticks and stones... Worst actually being the guards hired in to keep spectators at a distance, they ALL have sticks..... let alone the AK's

And kids often seem to want to use the stinger as a chin-up bar. Never seen that done with a TR running, thank goodness!

Swap

Love to trade buses VF, though I think I'd need a bit o dual on the ultra high stuff, phew the old hart would be at max speed. My wife has spent a bit o time in Nepal and love the country and people, she gets a kick out of your pic's as she has visited some of the areas you fly.

It's a jungle out there, cheers
