Namaste VF

You mention "Landslides" that valley in the picture must have been one hell of a movement, are the lower mountainous areas unstable in many area's.

Also you mention the inquisitive crowd , hence hanging the TR over the wall, is it easy to disperse them or do you have to push them back with whatever ground crew you have out there.

Stay Safe VF

My regards

Ref VF's TR if you look at the majority of his pictures he parks with the TR well away from the public, either over a wall or with the TR overhanging an incline of a hill. Obviously VF is very conscious of the potential problem and does all he can to avoid one!

Still no snow this year VF?

Angel eXtra strong coffee

Om Peter-RB Om

Yaaar & there's been hundreds, maybe thousands of major land slides here throughout Nepal???? Hmmmmm would be seriously scarey to be under or near one Don't know why they are so regular

Yes I always park with Tail-Rotor hanging off a ledge where ever possible purely for safety that's one less concern for me

hahahaha there's no ground crew once You leave the base it's ALL up to the Pilot

Land back happy always

Top of other part of the world

Hi VF.

Not trying to hijack your thread , just thought you might like to see pics of other wonderful parts of our planet. My daughter has been trekking in Patagonia for the last month and has been sending spectacular pictures of that part of South America.

Torres del Paine

Cerro Torre

And their trekking partner, Gustave

Hope you enjoy & Fly Safe

Please note, no helicopters were harmed while taking these pictures; all done while walking

question

Perhaps a dumb question but I notice you do not have sling mirrors mounted on your aircraft.
As well as being usefull in slinging they are great when landing in unprepared areas to see what is under the helicopter.
Just a comment as you obviously have you job very well in hand.
Thanks as usual for the great photos.

Hey albatross

We do have slinging mirrors for the B3+ but only install it for a sling job

We have a small mirror on the skids permanently installed for quick ground clearance check

Happy Landings
