Hey Spencer, if safety is an obsession, then OK, I'm guilty as charged
I've seen the results of 2 Blessed Souls walk into a Tail Rotor
the results are sickening
I for one will make my mission & landings as safe as possible to protect me, my machine, my PAX as well as the onlookers........A piss poor sloppy attitude to Airmanship safety is why people die when a Pilot doesn't take responsibility for the safest way....
it takes no extra effort to safely hang Your Tail Rotor over a ledge (when there is one) to prevent a stumbling Human; bumbling into the TR....?

another sad example of landing at Namche Bazaar with the Tail-Rotor creating a danger to People on the ground
simply landing 2-3metres back would have eliminated all that potential danger

Had a video call on FB from son hiking there yesterday whilst the Fishtail Squirrel picked up three other hikers of the group they were in who decided to fly down...Good to see you in action live online as this is my favourite thread on any aviation forum.
