Does the 222 have a set of skids tucked away inside the fuselage? Watch Airwolf II as it blows up!

Picky, picky, picky...

Just do what I do: Keep repeating to yourself, "It's not a documentary. It's not a documentary..." Gets me through the most inane aircraft segments of TV shows/movies.

@ FairWeatherFlyer,

No, Its either the shell of an old Hughes 500 or else an R/C model of a 500 that was used in the blown up bits in all the episodes. (Some episodes it looks like a Huey that is blown up).

Shame Jan Michael Vincent turned out the way he did. He was drinking all the time on shoot of the series.
Also, hard to believe Ernest Borgnine is still going the same as ever, he has lived the best acting career alot of people think.

Blue Thunder

Anyone remember the series with the Jaws bloke flying it seeing the modded Puma made me think of it. I think its a modded Gazzelle?

Airwolf Theme Music

Don't laugh, but as a youngster, I LOVED watching Airwolf and, yep, I'll admit it, wished to grow up as a Stringfellow-Hawke type.
Then when Blue Thunder came out ...awww geez ...that was IT!

I actually have the theme music to Airwolf as the 'signoff' for when I shut down my home computer.
