|
Havent you seen and watched Airwolf???????????:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
Buy the DVD box set at once. Beats the A-Team hands down in my on view |
Red Dawn, the movie.
|
Thank you Gordy, for NOT saying '222A', there is of course no such machine as a '222A' despite a great number of people advertising them for sale.
Matari, I believe this is a AS330 'conversion' for one of the Rambo movies - the one in which he saves Afghanistan. The 'operator' in this case was the Soviet air force. MikeNYC, You may be correct, but I thought the background looked more like Afganistan. |
mike has it correct. the movie is RED DAWN.
there were two of them in the movie. |
I believe the 330J used in the Rambo movie belonged to PHI at the time. It was later bought by Pacific Helicopters in PNG.

Helicopter recognition!
I flew an RAF Puma HC1 into Heidelberg during my RAF OCU training in 1979, before any were based in RAFG. We couldn't understand why so many folks came outside to see us - it seemed like the whole camp was out there! Then as we climbed out someone asked us why we were flying a "Hip" (Mi-8) in West Germany..... |
Airwolf TV program
Many years ago while watching one with the wife & kids there was a problem with Airwolfs tail rotor.
The hero takes it off and goes to the local horse Blacksmith who repairs it over his open fire with his hammer! My wife asks, as a joke of course, why we make such a big deal about our maintenance when all we need to do is do it their way. Unfortunately lots of "people" believe what they see on TV...... |
Re the Airwolf clip, I hope he didn't leave it unattened rotors running! :ugh:
|
so having just bougtht the magnum box set airwolf is now required eh.
i wonder if string and tc matched up who would win?? |
Oh, watching that "Airwolf" clip did bring back some memories. But...
I've said it before and I'll say it again: As much as I like to think of myself as the "Stringfellow Hawke" type of calm, cool, steely-eyed helicopter pilot, if I'm being honest I'm really more like Dom Santini - and as I get older, so much like him that it's creepy :-/ |
Did he ever find his brother "Sinngin"
Pv |
His brothers name was Saint John, its only pronounced "sinngin"
He is found in the first episode of the last season apparently, played by Barry Van dyke. and he becomes the primary character for the last season |
