Sling Load Experts

I am new to the aviation field. I was wondering what the average pay is for someone whos sole job is to perform sling load operations. Not fly or anything else, just sling load?

As in hook up the load on the ground or what? How can you do external load ops without flying?....there is no such thing.

I know that, I just want to know about the guys on the ground. We are already fully manned, this is an ammendment to the contract and we are trying to save money.
