B.U.D.G.I.E thank you for your useful post to this thread... not. Go away if you haven't got anything worthwhile to say and leave those that are interested to BE INTERESTED. This isn't an English class or else I'd give you the cane for being a ****.

My useful contribution to this thread is telling you to *****.

Don't see the "valid point" in someone getting arsey over another wanting a confirmation of the aircraft or overlooking the thread title! I presume this thread shall be a grand one for helicopter pilots in Scotland so let us keep it that way and not fill it with semantic nonsense and your pictures of a 'CHILL PILL' or whatever else you are going to Google Image.

There's only one person being arsey here ... and it's the one using the words, "arsey", "piss off" and "tw@t".

For heaven's sake man, there are ladies present.

Cheers

Then on that note I'm off for a well earned SLEEP. Sorry to those offended by my outbursts, and sorry to B.U.D.G.I.E. Spotter still stands with jizupajob or whatever the name is.

Sleep tight campers!

I guess this incident isn't the best news anyone promoting the Sky Watch Civil Air Patrol system wants to hear.

Heryb has had a good nights sleep thank you.

Have read today's tatty newspaper, The Sun, that has something about a Robinson 440 crash. Ever heard of one of them, anyone?

Fishbangwallop..... i take it you mean the pipeline J/R not L/R ? if so I know both the Sisters, the eldest recently married & the younger one takes after her Father which is a shame.......do agree they both sound lovely on RT, both worked offshore with Bond btw.

And just to make my day spoke to her again this morning as she follows the pipe.....You normally find the nicer they sound the less nice they look, but I believe in this instant she is as good looking as she sounds!!!

This thread seems to have drifted into a fantasy world of Supermodels flying JetRangers ! I have met one of the pipeline girls and she is very nice
Over the years though, I have also fallen victim to the lovely sounding receptionist who turns out to be a monster, and before you start calling me sexist I am sure I have disappointed more than a few myself !!

Hey Gussett

jivusajob would you stop giving your spotter observations in this thread. Some poor sod has lost two of his favourite possessions and you sit there giving your pathetic armchair analysis.

If he was clear of cloud (at least 1,500 horizontally), in sight of surface and had a flight visibility of at least 1,500m then everything is fine.

Now with the greatest of respect shut up unless you're going to contribute well to this thread.
Thats all abit harsh. Far from being a pathetic armchair analysis what you got from me was an eyewittness account from Glasgow Heliport.

In addittion

in fact I'm sure "Police 51" was on Glasgow Radar frequency earlier today when I was flying inbound in a trusty Flybe Dash 8! I may have misheard though. I guess jivusajob to be a spotter with no solid clue.
You are in fact wrong as from the widow of my camper van near the heliport I can assure you Police 51 did not fly in the morning.

Anyway back to the thread, this just seems to confirm yet again that having lots of money can buy you a helicopter. What it cannot buy you is the skill to fly it.
