Calendar arrived
Ned,
Thanks for the calendar, great photos. I think June is the best, nothing beats a good old Huey on a sunny day in powder coated mountains. Brings back some great memories. And then you have this powerful Chinook in the bottom corner, I feel like having June all year round.
Cheers, SoBe

ONE of my most enjoyable memorable moments was collecting my shiney new 480 at the enstrom factory and flying it to the docks at phillidelphi to put it on a boat bound for the uk

The smile...
On the face of my latest customer as he pulls his S92 into a hover for the first time...the pictures in ALL the mags showing the latest helicopter rescue, the boys in the Bering Sea showing time and again why a helicopter is the ONLY way to fly....relief supplies flown into some country somewhere in the world where their need is great and the only way to help is with a helicopter...Igor's vision proven correct day in and day out.

Solo flying to the Isle of Wight via Portsmouth and seeing my local pub and house from the air. Beautiful sunny September evening. That's my best flight so far.
Also first time practicing engine off landings in the hover with my instructor, a misunderstanding occured which led to me rolling off the throttle for him, none too gently either. Suffice it to say we yawed violently to the left and bounced on the ground. "I'll handle throttle control, thank you."
