Today

Drove past her today after my exams at Shuttleworth, looks like she was parked in someone's garden rather than the airfield.

Would love to see her fly.

XT 787. Last year in April the owner brought her to the reunion at Yeovilton to celebrate the 20 years since they were withdrawn from service. I was lucky to fly in XT787 with John Beattie. She flew beautifully and an auto at the end reminded one that the Wasp came down faster than most helicopters. Pity we could not do a few EOLs.
I had one of these: on my face for at least two weeks. Thanks to the owner for a wonderful opportunity.

Thought that S/N looked familiar. I worked on her when I was in the RNZAF years and years ago.

Beautiful - just missing some skids

Why did the Scout have a different stabiliser?

Beautiful? It's not bad but it'll look better when the design's fully finished.
