Looking for pictures of the EH-101 prototypes with different horizontal stabilizer configurations. To round out Ray Prouty's next book...

New book is the columns from 1992 to 2004. Lots of detailed aerodynamics and stability and control...
Neat stuff.

The original and the revised tail planes are with PP3 in The Helicopter Museum if anyone wants close ups .

How many helicopters have horizontal stabilizers beneath the Tail Rotor....seems a built in problem to me.

The Bell answer was to put them in front of the tail rotor as I recall.

Bk117 , Bo 105, Future lynx on this pic have one though they all seem a little further fwd tham the original EH101
