Looking for an FAA instructor

Hi,

I currently hold a FAA PPL(H) license which I did on a R22. I live in the UK in North Norfolk and would like to exercise my privelages on the closest helicopter, which happens to be a Schweizer 300C. I would like to find an FAA instructor who can help me get my rating on the 300C.

I would either need an instructor to train me on the 300C in Norwich, or I would be perfectly happy to do it on a 300C of their choice, or their convenience. Is there any instructors out there that can help me, or does anyone know of an FAA instructor that could help?

Thank you in anticipation of any feed back!

You don't need a type rating on the 300 on your FAA licence - but obviously it would be prudent to take some training!

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but as you won't be getting any FAA qualifications you don't really need to seek out an FAA instructor. Unless you are looking to do your FAA biennial.

Are you thinking of Sterling's Schweizers? Have you asked them?

Cheers

Are you allowed to fly a G-registered helicopter with your FAA license?
