Just watched the news and it was one of Heliflight's 300s from Ardmore. Crashed in the mangrove swamps in the Firth of Thames. There was the pilot Josh someone and his girlfriend onboard. Both got out ok but looking at the wreckage it makes you wonder how the hell they did.

Seems like that was the second one in two months for Heliflight as news said they lost another one near Whitford in December.

Glad no one was hurt.

Just reading about the 300s - they do seem to have a reassuring design and engineering integrity, with plenty of safety features in the unfortunate event of an accident.
