Ah yes the series where it seems there is only one winchoperator at Lossie. God bless him!

As if this series isn't long enough and now they are going to do another one. At least they leave the bloopers in the programme and don' wait till the end!

I would be grateful for a link or other option to see the serial, since I am from the Continent. I had great time flying for a few days with 202. Squadron in Lossiemouth some years ago. It was a great experience!

hoistop,

You can get it as a Torrent download: Mininova has 5 episodes here, you would probably find more with a web search

Watched this last night for the first time in a long while, absolutely amazing.

It really makes you think about how highly trained RAF pilots and crews are, in a blizzard with nil visibility and heavy wind, off the coast of Scotland near to mountainous terrain, when no other aircraft would fly, they are just flying along as normal, navigator sat there reading "Left heading 170", "Right heading 190" off the radar, everybody perfectly calm.

This is to take nothing from regular pilots who are themselves highly trained professionals, however many other pilots would have panicked or ended up in a smoldering wreck in those circumstances. It really does show the RAF pilots to be on another level completely.

Apart from torrent downloads you can download a lot of episodes from the big filehosters aswell. To get the download links just google the following -> "Highland Emergency" rapidshare <- then you get links like these:
Highland.Emergency.S01E22.WS.PDTV.XviD-REMAX - Technology Freaks - An Underground Rapidshare Community

in those posts you just have to look for the download link. In this case the filehoster is netload.in and the link to your episode would be (if you havent found it already):
Netload Serious Filehosting - Netload

Dont forget to check if the file is password protected, if so, the password is usually posted next to the download link.

All these filehosters seem to want money to give you the file, but after a quick look you will see that there is always a free download link where you just have to wait some seconds and type in some numbers (or letters) to verify you are "human". Thats it.

The big "trusty" filehosters are rapidshare, megaupload, netload.in and uploaded.to

as always...i stand corrected.

cheers eivissa.

PS: here are some more episodes i could find...you will need "winrar" to unpack and "divx" to watch the episodes:

This is superb stuff. These people are showing they are the best SAR crews in the world.

Pity some small minded individuals still think it is appropriate to post snide comments.

CD

Are you Crab@ as well?

Only checking, after G-Ben decided that the Navy & Coastguard SAR crews could not do SAR like the RAF
