Personally, I would never, ever hire anyone who writes to me in bastardised txt-speak language.

Same goes for anyone seen wearing a baseball cap backwards.

@ imuney: I would like to know that as well, are you familiar with Botco? I called them a couple of times, no one ever picks up the phone and their voice message sounds hillbilly

Don't know but find these Bolco folks a bit dodgy! Heard that something was being negotiated in SA right now, perhaps Titan Helicopters or some other local operator getting ready to bid for an offshore contract?

Apply, get an interview and you will hear the t&c. No use discussing these things beforehand in a market where everybody is struggling to even get an interview let alone a job.

PAS F/O

the first page of the application asks for:
place of birth
date of passport issue
place of passport issue
etc...
ie- details that are found on the ID page of your passport (and a helicopter company wouldn't need).

I saw a Nigerian ID scam like this a while ago.

BEWARE

Also found it intriguing, they definitely ask a lot of personal information for a mere initial application...

The Everett experience...

Everett haven't changed their website employment page since I started looking at them over a year ago. After a telephone call from the chief last September and some email correspondence I got offered a 365 gig with them and then....nothing. Not a call/email, no returned calls, no one available etc.... strange bunch. I'd still love to know what happened there.

Anyway, I could be wrong but it seems justhelicopters (if that's where Peter Panpan got the ad) regurgitate the same old ad every now and again. I've updated them a few times and heard nothing. That's my experience. Apply and see...

Edit: Oops, you're right PPP, sorry I meant gethelicopterjobs.com. As I said I have a feeling they publish old ads. They've issued that same ad with new dates several times since December. I could be wrong...
