Heard a rumour that Aeromega no longer trading. Any truth in the rumour?

I understand that they have closed Stapleford however they are continuing to operate from Cambridge.

I gather they have ceased trading. Shame if true to see a long established operator disappear.

Assuming this is true, does anyone know if Directflight, their fixed-wing operation, is affected?

Aeromega has not ceased trading, it has merely withdrawn from the twin/IFR charter market which involves scaling back the Stapleford operation. They propose to continue single engine charter and training. Direct Flight is not affected in any way. I gather that this was merely a strategic decision due to the over regulation and exhorbitant regulatory costs which small helicopter operators are now expected to bear operating in this very difficult market.
