Crediting of flight time / JAA PPL (H) / JAA ATPL (A)

Hello everybody,

I was wondering if one of you could help me regarding the total number of flying hours i have to write in my CV ...

I currently hold a JAA PPL (H) with 85 hours in total. (Ratings: Robinson 22 /Robinson 44)

Furthermore, i am actually doing an JAA ATPL (A), i will have 180 flying hours at the end.

Is it true that i can count 30 hours of my helicopter hours for the plane?

Can i write :

180 hours + 30 hours = 210 hours for the plane
85+30 hours= 115 hours for the helicopter?

In which document can i get all the details ? (JAR FCL 1?...)

I have been looking at several documents and i can't find where are all the information....

I thank you in advance for your help....

Best regards

Nearly. You can count 30hrs of your PIC(H) time towards the CPL(A) modular requirements. (ie any dual time in helicopters doesn't count):

D1.2(D) NOTES
The 200 hours flying experience may comprise flight time
in any of the following capacities:
• Pilot-in-Command/Solo (PIC), counted in full.
• Pilot-under-Instruction (Dual), counted in full.
The following credits will apply towards the total 200 hours
of flight time and not the specific requirements of (a)(i) and
(ii), (b) or (c) above:
i. 30 hours as pilot-in-command holding a PPL(H) on
helicopters;
or
ii. 100 hours as pilot-in-command holding a CPL(H), or
as a QSP(H), on helicopters;

But here's the caveat: this comes from LASORS, which is the UK CAA 'interpretation' of the JAA requirements. The details might be slightly different for Spain and/or Switzerland.

The hours that you would put on a CV would be the actual hours you have done to date so, in your case

85 hours PPL(H)
180 hours CPL(A) etc.

However, if due to receiving some time credit against your PPL(H), and you do the CPL(A) in 150 hours (for example). then 150 hours is what you'd put on your CV. If you've logged the hours, then that's what you put and keep updated!

Cheers
