Did anyone notice that the makers of Terminator 2 had the insight to give the T1000 a third arm when flying his helicopter so that he could shoot Arnie and fly at the same time?

I watched The Hot Rock (Robert Redford) last night and was impressed to see that they showed a pretty acurate start up...up until the helicopter lifting after 30 secs!

A small snip of some of the flying.. YouTube - 1971 Lower Manhattan in The Hot Rock movie

...and if anyone is interested...

Adding to '24' with Jack Bauer, he managed to start up an AS350 and was sitting in the machine for a few minutes until the rotors were "at speed" to get away from the bad guys...

Bruce Willis did a fantastic job of starting and flying an AS350 in Die Hard 4.0, after only "a couple of lessons"..... not a bad a/c to start flying training in!

In "Working Girl" with Harrison Ford, Sigourny Weaver hops out of a S-76 just after touch down with rotors turning, then 2 seconds later while still getting out the M/R is completely still... almighty fast shut down and rotor brake application

More mid-air transformations

Towards the end of Behind Enemy Lines with Owen Wilson and Gene Hackman, 3 212's/UH-1N's lift off from the carrier to rescue Mr Wilson only to turn into 2 Huey's and a 412 when they reach him. They then turn back into 212's when they head back to the ship. The average observer is none the wiser. Great editing that

They probably couldn't use the aircraft again until they'd unjammed the siezed/melted on rotor brake.
