Any chance of another "S92 swinging underneath an S64" series of photos, or maybe a YouTube video of the "grand dangle"?

What's the connection with the previous one? Base location?

Well done again guys, with the tranny gone and smoke in the cockpit you got it safely down. Things can go wrong and as pilots we all hope that when our time comes to be tested we can make the right choices and enjoy another day.

What a small world. Words spread fast in the aviation world.

Kudos to the crews. At least they manage to land the heli in one piece.

2 down, 1 to go....

Of course - that's how I got home in January. The last crew came home by car though

I thought this type was put forward for "The President's choice".....surely these transmission reliability worries put that in some slight doubt.....

I can say it was day 1, sector 1 of line training for the PF - pretty harsh of the LTC to inject that I thought

Yeah come on spill the beans. It would be very interesting - especially for those, like me, who are also flying this machine every day, and have heard absolutely zip about any incident!

I add my request, not flying the 92, but another "A" model...

OK, just saw the release from Sikorsky yesterday when I went into work, so maybe I spoke too soon. Good work getting down, and a bit more realism for a line training flight!
Lets hope this isn't a trend, as I dont fancy ditching too much in the North Sea, without Sea State 6 floats wired up yet.

If you're a smoker, maybe take a spare pack of fags with you, and perhaps a thermos flask - will be good for moral as you bob about in your life raft!

Sorry no more constructive input (now there's a pun!) - there's no way I could comment. Rest assured everyone's attention is well and truly focussed.

Horror Box, now you have seen the bulletin from Sikorsky - perhaps you (or someone else) can enlighten the rest of us??
