R22 Flight Simulator?
Hi,
Due to my work as a Television Outside Broadcast Sound Engineer I travel away from home a lot, staying in hotels and getting quite bored so I was just wondering if there are any professional training aids such as flight simulators etc for the R22 (thats the machine i'm currently training on) that I can use on my lap top while away from home to help me learn more about the flying techniques of the helicopter?
Thanks in anticipation,
K77.

Afraid that I know nothing about PC sims but I was reading the free Loop paper this morning and there is a piece about an R44 extension for FS2004 and FSX written by www.justflight.com

Don't forget that while you're away, you can build on your deep and meaningful relationship with Trevor Thom!!
If you are thinking of going commercial, then it will never be wasted study time!
Cheers

Microsoft Flight Simulator X has the Robinson R22 Beta II included:
http://www.microsoft.com/games/fligh...t_aircraft.htm
I used it once or twice in my notebook with the X52 when I was a student pilot:
http://astore.amazon.com/hovercontro...581808-8600636
Here is a great page about simulation:
http://www.hovercontrol.com/docs/get...c_page30.shtml
(see the links on the left side, ie. Starting from Scratch)
Hope that helps.
