ANR earplugs
anyone who knows how I can get my hands on a pair of ANR earplugs to wear under my headset? I have heard that they should be available down to only about 120$.

Communications earplug (CEP)
If your after CEPS as appossed to an ANR system, look at the web site and order direct.
http://www.cep-usa.com/index.htm The kit I used for the HGU-56 helmet is the CEP900-K04A which includes the CEP199-C01 and CEP900-I04 interface is $89.00. Ear tips are $16.00 per package of six pair of a single size, Standard or Slim.
I believe they have kits for headsets as well, but I know they have one option that would definitely suit helmet or headset.
They work quite well, and no batteries or power needed.

There are no ANR earplugs. They aren't even necessary. Earplugs, properly fitted, give better noise suppression over all frequencies than ANR headsets. ANR only works underneath domes, and won't fit into earplugs.
