Ground Instruction - Qualifications Required?
Hello All,
What are the minimum qualifications for teaching the PPL(A/H) ground studies?
I was considering doing this for a bit of fun and extra cash.
I have ATPL(H)/IR 4500 Hours / PPL(A) and A Degree in Physics.
Would that do?
Cheers

Nah mate, you're overqualified!!
But seriously, you could approach any of the training providers or even set up your own company doing ground instruction for ppl/cpl students etc. The Ground Instructor Certificate will help.
A lot of flying schools charge students extra for added ground training during courses. Get a class of 3 or 4 students a couple of times a week and charge them say £20-30 each. Nice little earner. One school I worked at did this for their students and it really helped during the PPL course and some just want to further their knowledge.
You could possibly do IR training for some people I guess. The world is your oyster when you have the 'experience' to back up the qualifications.
PS, I need more fish!!!!
