ski box for EC355 - where to get?
... ideally it should be some lightweight carbon made box..
PS is it possible to use ski box if I have popout floats installed on EC 355??
any advices?

Dart Aero do a Utility Basket.. for 355.
Can carry approx 200lb...
You would have to remove the floats or disable them at the very least, but why carry the extra weight anyway?

am a little addicted to kitesurfing - so thats why I need to fly over the water (to reach some small ilands) and still have a skibox with equipment with me

Why would you want to have floats on an AS355? A twin engine helicopter since you´re not landing on elevated platforms
But anyway. I´m pretty sure I have flown AS350B3´s with Dart ski-baskets and popout floats.

Here is the answer to your problem. Purchase the Dart PN350 602-011
Utility Pod, it has been certfied for use with floats both Aerazur & Air Cruisers for both 350 & 355. Be aware the Dart Ski Baskets are not certified for use with pop out floats nor likely are any other similar baskets. You can find Dart Aerospace on the web.
