stereo?

A Melbournian sunset as seen from a Raven II, how good is that? And I suppose little miss gorgeous was in the back workin' the camera too?

Hey what's with the twin over head black annodised TV monitors atop the central console? You got 2 cameras or what?

Did a last light into Essendon a few years ago in my R22 & only got one bridge confused.....not bad for a Sydney pilot on the first attempt!

Hey John Eacott,

Just wondered - are those 2 GPS units in your r44 on top of the dash or camera screens?

I've never seen a GPS with a full colour display of the road, cars, bushes and street lights over which I was flying.

Take a close look at the 3rd photo!

Next moment its IMC. ZS-RMM in the forground and Rovos Air in the back at Signatur hangars.

Cool June 2006 calendar

Another couple of offerings from around the world this month. The R22 image comes from vaqueroaero, and was taken near San Diego. Click on the thumbnail image, and the full size photo will open to be available as your desktop image (the widescreen images are fairly large files, so expect a slow download if you're on a dialup connection):

Belly Tank provided the S64 image from firefighting at Gosford, NSW, earlier this year. The Rural Fire Service contracted this Skycrane:

We are still looking for good hi res photos to be used as calendar backgrounds, please contact me via e mail [email protected] if you have something to be used. I need at least 1280 x 800 for widescreen, and 1024 x 768 for standard.

Thanks

AMS at FACT

The AMS have their own base at FACT.

You can see CHC's Bell 212 in the background just retuned from The Artic.
