Advice please on rating

Hi all, have made the phone calls for this but keep getting different answers. No access to Lasors here today in work.

I am adding a SEP (R44) to my licence. I used to have a 22 on there but I let that expire. Do I need to do 3 or 5 hours for my 44 rating. I have no other piston ratings on my licence.

I hold a jaa cpl(h)

Many thanks

C

Better get it done before the next batch of AICs come out (19 Jul?), it'll be 5 hours after that.

They are bringing it back in then? I spoke with a guy from the CAA just over a year ago and he said that it was reverting back to five hours.....very soon I thought he was pulling my leg. (I await the "just over a year ago" "soon" and "CAA" jokes to reel in.....personally, they have been good to me, so I will refrain).

Thanks for that one rotor, I'll get it in quick and keep the boss happy.

Cheers
C.
