Sad to hear that old 1973 classic has been lost. Good news on the pilot being safe.
I recall so well delivering PN to her first owner in 73. No less than the Lord Spencer Compton. Delivery was made to his imposing Northampton mansion at Castle Ashby ... he also owned three quarters of the village, including the local Falcon pub! In those days the Spooner Aviation advertised price of £23,000 included the cost of PPL training.
An odd thing about that delivery was that the stone roof ballustrade at Castle Ashby, had the letters. ......... "The word of the Lord liveth forever." I recall smiling when I realised the final R had fallen to the garden below.
Just another piece of nonsense from the fading memory bank of a one-time Enstrom salesman.

As they say
"Once a Salesman always a salesman"
Dennis, you got me thinking ...comming out of grey hair moment ..I had to check logbook.
First flew BBPN in April '78 with Peter Peckowski .... now there was another 'showman' like yourself. Sadly no longer with us.
So be happy that you are fit and well and with us and don't be embarrased to offer "Just another piece of nonsense from the fading memory bank of a one-time Enstrom salesman"
regards G
