Yeah, looked at that at HAI in Miami in '93.

No good in Oz, because at night we are stuck well above 1500' in a built-up area, and above 2000' over the Sydney CBD. The sign is way too small for anybody to read it at that height.

Besides, Sydney people are so NIMBY that, rather than buy a product advertised on such a sign, they would complain to CASA about the noise of the helicopter, and boycott the product.

Someone tried that in a 172 here in Toronto a few years ago. Nobody paid much attention and they stopped doing it.

I just saw it at Sun N Fun last week, I thought it was awesome. AOPA hired a local operator to fly over at night. Pretty cool. I emailed www.nitead.com and I'm supposedly getting an info package.
