NHV HEMS Helicopters

This MD was used for University Hospital of Antwerp, secondary medevac.

The EC145 replaced the AS365 in 2006 for the whole southern part of Belgium.

The other AS365 can be used for EMS as a backup for one of the MD900, EC145
or even supplementary medical flights on demand by hospitals.

This MD900 is used in Arras, France for the SAMU 62.

It is indeed in the hangar at Sloane's in Sywell - where I fly from! I however live in Coventry.
If anybody asks nicely, and at the right time, the flying school normally let spotters take photo's through the same window which I took that one... so no special "access" needed.
Thought it might make a change to see a pic of a machine in the hangar rather than on a job!
WNAA are back to using G-WNAA at the moment - which was in for rotors running refuel on Sunday while I was doing some training on a R44.
Those of you who know the A109 a bit better: is a 400 hr (assuming that is what G-MEDS is in for), a major inspection?

Massive HEMS Operation
About 30 to 40 helicopters of different types were on scene after the horrible railway accident near Eschede/Germany on June 3rd 1998.

Couldn't find a more recent thread than this, so apologies if I have missed it.
A few photos from a visit by G-BUXS earlier today, at Westbury ( Wilts) Football Ground. I think the patient eventually left by road.

Thanks to the pilot for the brief chat and letting me take the pics.
