I've got a whole load of these but will have to 'doctor' those that have any identifiable plates and faces.

I see your Essex and Kent co-responding and raise you Lincs/Notts, County EMA, East Anglia and Cambridge police doing similar, (not a very good photo though):

Looks like the problem in hand was contagious.

Bertie, you've got me beat hands down, and there'll be no challenge, any job that required 4 heli's . You'll find me behind the sofa!

Meanwhile, a competition akin to spot the ball.....where's the ground.

Just browsing over these fantastic photos again and it got me wondering what the photo above was all about?

Bertie, perhaps you would be kind enough to offer an explanation or story if possible.

Many thanks

Regards,

Jim

Serious road accident reported. Location not well defined. On border somewhere between 3 regional ambulance control areas and three air ambulances and local police ASU.
Probably reported by many calls from bystanders, passers by, those involved, to any one of all three control rooms.
It's not happened before in this area , in my recollection.

BT,
Thanks for the link. Odd that the search couldn't find it, as I used HEMS pics as one of the search strings. Perhaps the mods could add the pic to the correct thread?

HEMS in St Anton, Austria

These are taken from my time in Austria. The thousands of skiers create an almost constant supply of work for these crews. I don't think there was a single day throughout the season when I didn't see this aircraft ferrying another injured skier/boarder off the mountain. I had quite a serious crash myself....unfortunately I was just 100m from the base of the slopes. Needless to say it didn't warrant a ride in the helicopter.

In these pictures, a female boarder had a nasty fall at a big air contest. Helicopter arrived and as you can see, significant snow spray must make the job all the more difficult.
