Hi Border
I have a couple of old Canadian Aircraft Registers going back to the early eighties. From my experience, they keep the information on a/c for a number of years even if they have been written off. So it's just possible they have your 206 listed. The only problem is that I have to find the d**n things - they are probably up in the attic. I'll let you know in a day or two.

I would hazard a guess that this might be the best place to ask this question http://www.verticalmag.com/forums/in...p?showforum=28

Getting a great response form Vertical Mag, Thanks for the tip Cyclic. What I found out is that the m/c was distroyed in a hangar fire in 1981 and I have been emailing the owners son, hopefully I should get a bit more info. Thanks again.

It is hoped to find the data plate, buy a damaged a/c, rebuild it, transfer the data plate on to the repaired a/c get a C of A and retain the original EI reg. I also want to find some colour photographs of the a/c.

Thanks anyway Rotornut all I need to do now is try and find the data plate for the a/c and a few colour photographs. CF FKR was distroyed in a hangar fire in 1981 at Carp, Ontario (outside of Ottawa). Thanks to everyone who helped with the search. Next time any of you are in Ireland look me up and I will stand you a drink(pint of Guinness).
Cheers!!!
