Foreign aircraft certifications?

Does any on know if you need an aircraft specific type rating to fly a Alouette 3 in the Philippines or in India If so what is the certification process currently have United States licenses.

Helopitts,

I'm from Philippines and also doing stints in India. Both countries go by type ratings on the license. Also I did CAR exam to get validation in India. Contact me back channel if you need assistance in Philippines.
