Airwork/HNZ
How will the impending puchase of HNZ by Airwork affect the Industry in the Asia Pacific region?
The new group formed will have a large fleet and experience in just about all aspects of the industry.
Airwork is also planning to list in early 2007.

Te Kahu, good question, Id like to know that as well. Is it actually fact or rumour that HNZ is being bought out? Be good to see some of the deadwood in Nelson management move on. They have held back what has the potential to be a proffessional organisation.

Subject to due diligence, should be through by christmas.
Apparently buying the joint lock stock and barrel , I believe the aircraft are owned by HNZ or Hubbard who wants out because he's 84.
All heli companies have dead wood , stay there long enough and you're in.

I've been told that Airwork is buying just HNZ. The Helicopter fleet will stay owned by another of Allan Hubbard's companies.
An interesting development for Airwork/Helilink as the helicopter side of the company seemed to be headed for severe doldrums.
