Aus Pilots working in Spain

Thinking about a change of scenery. Looking into visas and license conversions. Any body made the move? Worth it? What's the money like? etc etc??? PM if you feel so inclined?

Cheers

Until someone more suitably qualified to answer your question comes along, the procedure to convert to a JAA professional licence was outlined here. That was in the UK but it should be largely the same in all JAA states.

A quick search of the forums threw up this which may give you a few pointers about the visas.

Typical salary for experienced captain on joining about 3800 euros per month. Some postions week on week off.

This is OK if you live in Spain, but not if you have a house elsewhere.
