Austria is currenty transitioning to JAA. This year you can still convert your license pretty easy, 10 days groundschool and a flight test. Next year you'll have to do the 9 JAA CPL exams. Finding work as a non-native is a bit harder though but depends on your hours and how well you speak the language. It's a pretty closed community.
