Re: Vietnam photo

Thanks Claytona, will get them both.

Read a book recently on Vietnam called "Once a Warrior King" by David Donovan. Pretty good read.

Another book I read and enjoyed quite sometime ago was "The Ravens: The Men Who Flew in America's Secret War in Laos" by Christopher Robbins, who also wrote "Air America"

Re: Vietnam photo

Apache Sunrise by Jerry Boyle is a great book about hunter/killer teams (written from a Cobra pilot point of view).

The CAV was not the only outfit involved in attack helicopter and scout helicopter teams, there were also the aerial rocket artillery. Few attack helicopter pilots had the juevos to mix it up down on the deck where the real fighting was.....they tell great stories though.

Re: Vietnam photo

Your are correct! Jerome M. Boyle is the author's real name. I know him as Jerry - not in the World War II German sense....just Jerry.
